This is a Giclee print from my original oil painting depicting one of my sons and his friends working together to hoist a sail. This took place on the beautiful Wooden Boat ’The Magic Carpet’ out of Edgartown on Martha’s Vineyard. I love how they really enjoyed working together, happy memories. It comes unmatted and unframed.

    For as long as I can remember I have always loved to draw and paint. Born and raised in Ireland, I then moved to the island of Martha's Vineyard, U.S.A where I lived for many years and now I spend time in London. Art has always been a part of my journey, it is in my blood. My father gave me a gift of a paintbrush 35 years ago which still holds a proud place in my paint box. While raising my children, I painted them regularly, resulting in a visual diary of our lives. I paint almost daily and believe it is important to make a living doing what you love. Having taught art to elderly people for a long time, I witnessed the joy that creating a painting gave them. Art can indeed be therapeutic and rewarding to both the artist and the viewer!
